Another sunny day here in Texas. When I ran across the U.S. last year I met Greg and Carol when I arrived at the Continental Divide. They are part of the International Mustang Bullitt Owners Club and all drive green Ford Mustangs. We chatted about my journey on foot and their journey speeding down the highway in their cool looking automobiles. This past weekend they were my host family, along with their daughters Emma and Clara, in Houston, Texas. The two of them have been working with the local PD and other organizations here in Texas to make me feel right at home now that I am cycling across the U.S. They are amazing people and friends for life. In fact, even some of the members have made donations to the charities I am cycling for. It is awesome how you can meet individuals in the path of life and they aren’t always just a memory from your past.
