Waiting for thunderstorm to pass! Was hoping for an early start to make it to Peabody, KS to talk to the students. Hoping the storm passes quickly.

I had a second flat!!!! I was close to tire store so they sent guy out. This is not good.
This turtle is in the middle of the road I think I’m going to pick him up and put him on the other side. Tired of seeing flattened turtles on the road.

The many students I’ve met on my journey have been great, including the students at Lebo Kansas School.
I never really grasped the concept of dancing fields till I got to Kansas. It’s breathtaking.
Making it step-by-step and town-to-town. 1,200 milestone, almost halfway across the U.S. and feeling great!
