Does it mean you are going way to slow when a family says they saw you a few times as they have traveled throughout the Southwest?

The McPherson Family met me on their way to San Diego and by golly they met me on their way back home.

So many options; continue to Los Angeles, turn around and go back 2,200 miles, take a flight home, grab a hold of the passing train or as Pinky and the Brain would say “try to take over the world!”
