Can’t get any closer for the night than this. Thanks to the Holiday Inn Surfside Beach SC for this view for the night. Another day complete, but now have to do my regular job till I fall asleep tonight.

Three things discovered in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: this is the very slow season here, there are Damon’s Restaurants still around (thought they disappeared), and there is an ocean finally.

It’s a perfectly calm day today here in North Carolina. Later today I should reach the border of South Carolina and settle in for the night in North Myrtle Beach.

Thanks Amy and the crew at the Wheeler Dealer bike shop in Wilmington North Carolina making sure that I put the bike together correctly. Ready for my first day out. Once again let’s do this thing!
