Storms coming through the area today so staying put till they pass through and then evaluating if I try to still get out today to make it to New Orleans, Louisiana or do the 70 miles around Lake Ponchatrain tomorrow. I have not heard from the New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee yet, but after yesterdays post saw that a lot of you are rooting for me to be able to attend the Super Bowl, I am crossing my fingers. I can’t believe in just 70 miles I will be half-way through this journey of cycling three sides of the United States.
