The Calcasieu Sheriff’s Dept. here in Lake Charles is awesome! After leaving the interview at NBC I was under full police escort to the Spring Hill Suites Lake Charles with full lights, sirens and intersections closed as we went through. Today marks less than 3,000 miles to go and what an honor to be led by Officer Smith and Officer Lavergne.
