Washington DC is where I started my run across the United States the first time earlier this year. Santa Monica Pier is where I finished my run across the United States this year. Today, I might not be running anymore to cross the U.S. for the 2nd time on foot but I have made it to a third spot that is significant in the movie Forrest Gump.
